central falls Rhode island

Central Falls Rhode Island is where a girl named Viola Davis was born. She grew up in a single-parent household with my mom and three sisters. We were on welfare and food stamps. My school was in a rough neighborhood, and I was often bullied because I was one of the only Black kids in my class. Despite all of this, I had a dream to be a famous singer one day. And against all odds, I made that dream come true.

But fame is not always what it’s cracked up to be. I quickly learned that the celebrity lifestyle comes with its own set of challenges and pitfalls. From the constant media scrutiny to the pressure to maintain my image, it was all too much for me at times.

That’s why Finding Me is more than just a celebrity memoir. It’s my story of overcoming adversity and finding my voice in a world that doesn’t always see me. I hope that by sharing my story, I can inspire others to do the same.

embrace childhood dreams

The Author talks in her recent article in new york times magazine that readers should work hard and don’t give up – that is the message actress Viola Davis’ writes about in her new memoir.

The book chronicles her difficult upbringing in poverty and how she was able to pull herself up and become one of the most successful actresses in Hollywood.

This new memoir is a memorial to creative expression and is not your typical celebrity memoir. It is a raw and unflinching account of the racism and misogyny that Davis faced throughout her career.

However, it is also a story of hope and determination. Davis shows readers that it is never too late to pursue your dreams.

No matter what obstacles you face, if you work hard enough, anything is possible and anyone should embrace childhood dreams and work hard to make them happen.

The memoir concludes with Viola’s thoughts on her life and career. She reflects on her ghostwriting experience and how it has changed her perspective. She also discusses the future of her writing career and what she plans to do next.

Viola’s thoughts on her life and career:

“It’s been an interesting journey, to say the least,” Viola began in her interview for new york times magazine. “I never expected to find myself in the position of a ghostwriter, but I’m glad I did. It’s given me a new perspective on my own writing.”

She continued, “I think the biggest lesson I’ve learned is that it’s okay to let go of control. As a writer, I’m used to being in charge of every word that goes onto the page. But with ghostwriting, you have to be willing to relinquish some of that control and trust that your client knows what they want to say” and that came from her experience in writing her ghost written celebrity memoir.

Looking to the future, Viola said she plans to continue writing and hopes to branch out into other genres. “I’d like to try my hand at fiction, maybe even children’s literature,” she said. “I think it would be fun to explore different kinds of writing.”

Whatever she ends up doing, Viola said she is grateful for the opportunity to pursue her passion which was a life changing decision. “I’m lucky to be able to do what I love for a living,” she said. “Not everyone gets to say that.”
